What Deco Hardwood Floor collects, who handles it, and the analytics and ad cookies this site uses, with links to opt out. Philadelphia, PA.
This policy explains what Deco Hardwood Floor collects when you contact us or visit this site, who handles it for us, and how you can turn the advertising and measurement tools off. Last updated .
What we collect when you contact us
If you call or text us, we have your phone number and what you tell us. If you email us, we have your email address and whatever you put in the message. If you send photos of your floor, we keep them for as long as we are working out your estimate. If you use the chat on this site, we have what you type into it and the contact details you give there.
If you fill in the estimate form or one of the short request boxes, we have the name, phone number, email, town and details you enter. Along with them the form sends the page you sent it from, the first page of your visit, the site you came from (for example a Google search or an ad) and the campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know which of our pages and ads bring requests.
Who handles it for us
The chat, the forms and our customer records run on HighLevel (LeadConnector), which stores those messages and requests for us. A copy of each form request reaches us by email through FormSubmit, and our email is Gmail. These providers process the information on our behalf.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you, to prepare an estimate, and to do the work if you hire us. We do not sell it. We do not give your contact details to other businesses for their own marketing, and we do not share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their marketing. We share details with a supplier only when your order requires it.
Cookies and what this site keeps in your browser
The site itself keeps two small notes in your browser: one remembers that you closed or sent a request box, so it does not keep coming back, and one remembers how you arrived during the visit, so a request you send carries it. Neither holds your name or contact details.
The analytics and advertising tools below set their own cookies. They load through Google Tag Manager after you first scroll, tap or move on the page, or a few seconds after it loads.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how long they stay and which pages lead to a call or a request. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used: it records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement and can replay a visit as a session, which shows us where a page is confusing. Both use cookies and collect information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view.
Advertising
We advertise with Google Ads and on Facebook and Instagram. We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and the Meta Pixel, to measure which ads lead to calls and requests and to show our ads to people who have visited this site.
When you send a form, Google Ads may receive the email address or phone number you entered in hashed form (converted into a code that does not show the original) to match the request to an ad click. This is called enhanced conversions. Google uses it only to measure our ads, under its customer data policies.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet. Meta does the same for ads on Facebook and Instagram.
How to turn it off
- Personalized Google ads: My Ad Center.
- Google Analytics: the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Facebook and Instagram ads: Meta ad preferences.
- Other participating ad companies: aboutads.info.
- Any of them: block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same without them.
How these companies use the data is set by their own policies: Google, Microsoft, Meta.
How long we keep it
Photos and messages about an estimate are kept while we work it out. If you hire us, we keep the records connected to that job as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to decohardwoodfloor@gmail.com.
We send text messages only if you texted us first or checked the box for texts on one of our forms. That box is optional and getting an estimate does not depend on it. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
When we add or remove a tool that collects information, we update this page and the date at the top.
